License Manager

Born on January 1, 1963, in Adıyaman, Kasım Bakır completed his education at Anadolu University / Faculty of Business Administration and started his career at Turkey Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) in 1979. He retired from the same institution in 2017.

During his tenure from 1979 to 2017 at Turkey Petroleum Corporation, Kasım Bakır was involved in gravity, magnetometer, and seismic teams for collecting 2D and 3D seismic data across various regions of Turkey. He served as an observer (Gravity and Magnetometer) and later as Explosive Material License Manager at the central office, ultimately retiring as the Seismic Teams Camp Chief.

After retirement, Kasım Bakır remained active in the energy sector and continued his career with the following roles:

• 2018 - Expert at Turkish Petroleum International Company (TPIC),
• 2020 - Administrative permissions and local public information duties for Sanko Energy in Manisa/Salihli region,
• 2021 - Administrative permissions and local public information duties at Viking Geophysical Services Ltd. / VGS,

He now continues his career as a “License Manager for Explosive Materials” at Ertürk Group, leveraging his expertise in the field. Some of the seminars and courses he has attended during his career include:
